Leading Edge LE-600 ADVANCED KITS
The LE-600 Advanced Kit offers the best value for purchasing the turbine with the associated equipment needed for a flexible off-grid renewable energy system that can also include solar PV.
1. For 24V or 48V systems
This kit includes:
1 x 45A Tristar Diversion Charge Controller
1 x 1000W Dump Load
The Diversion Charge Controller is used to divert excess power to the Dump Load when the batteries are full. If using PV, a dedicated PV charge controller should be used, with both the wind turbine and PV connected directly to the batteries. The Diversion Charge Controller should also be connected directly to the batteries.
2. For 12V systems
This kit includes:
1 x 60A Tristar Diversion Charge Controller
1 x 1000W Dump Load
THE LE-600
The LE-600 is a downwind wind turbine that is light and robust, yet delivers fantastic power output. It is designed and manufactured in the UK.
It features a fully integrated axial flux 3-phase Permanent Magnet Generator (PMG) using the latest, most powerful neodymium iron boron magnet technology. This means the turbine has a very low cut-in speed so it will generate power at very low wind speeds, as well as delivering a higher output at higher wind speeds than the competition.
